Spirited Coalition for Change is a nonprofit foundation started by the partners of 213 Hospitality and The Spirited Group with a mission to help our community’s growing homeless population. Our sole purpose is to raise funds and awareness for our homeless neighbors and find ways to solve the growing housing crisis our community faces. By utilizing the network of 213 & The Spirited Group’s bars and restaurants, Spirited Coalition for Change will not only raise needed funds but also raise awareness of the growing homeless crisis in Los Angeles.
Why It Matters
Across the United States, our homeless population has risen to unprecedented levels.
Los Angeles is the midst of an extraordinary housing crisis, currently with the largest unsheltered homeless population in the country.
There are almost 60,000 people living on the streets of L.A. 42,000 of them are unsheltered; this is 20% more than in 2016.
The Spirited Coalition supports nonprofits that:
- Permanently end the cycle of homelessness on Skid Row and Los Angeles
- Provide special services in particular to the homeless women, children & veterans on Skid Row.
- Raise awareness of homelessness and Skid Row amongst our partners and patrons.
$1 for 1 drink would go back to our community's least fortunate.
Visit any of the following participating venues and ask for the community drink and we'll give $1 of that drink to a nonprofit organization fighting to help end homelessness!
